teenagers/generation Y and technology

A discussion between some typical tech savy teenagers/generation Ys and "the rest of us". I'm proposing this because I'm getting on a bit, there are significant generation gap in the use of:
* Social networks
* Instant messaging
* Email
* Music
* Video
* Blogging
* Mobiles and SMS
* Search
* Ecommerce, shopping
and I want to understand these differences (and similarities) better.

I think that a discussion format with a chairperson is the best way to run this. I'm proposing it as a workshop rather than a 1 hour sofa discussion during the main LIFT days because I think that these days will be very busy and a more relaxed workshop without a fixed 1 hour cut off will be better.

We have a group of four 16 to 17 year old teenagers who are prepared to talk/discuss/be interviewed and it should be an interesting discussion for both sides.
