What can the future do for you?
Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.

The workshop submission process ended last week and we now have the full list.
18 workshops have been selected, focused on a wide range of topics: crowdsourcing, product features co-creation, the future of education, location-based games among many of others. Some of them have been submitted by long-time Lifters, others by newcomers.
You can now register for the workshop you want. Go on the list, click on the title of the workshop you want to attend, and sign up using the form at the bottom of the page.
Watch out, seats are limited!
Workshop submissions are open! It's now time to suggest your proposals.
At Lift12, workshops will take place on Thursday 23 February, and Friday 24 February, 2012.
How does it work?
This year, we're going to change the submission process as we will ask workshop candidates to send a video of yourself presenting your proposal as well as a description explaining it. The point is that this will help us select the most relevant workshop and enable participants to understand more what they will do.

The Lift11 workshops are happening now.
Attend or moderate a workshop during these sessions dedicated to networking and experience sharing. See the full list of workshops here.
We have revamped the workshops page to make it clearer and facilitate signup into the sessions you are interested in. This year, ten workshops will happen in parallel to the talks on Thursday (so you can have an alternative offering of content) and ten more are scheduled on Friday morning. See the complete schedule here.
As usual, some workshops fill up pretty quickly and a few are already almost full, so hurry up and save your seat for the sessions you are interested in. Please do not sign in for more than 3 workshops! The site will let you do it, but we need your help to make sure no seats are wasted, thanks :)

We have received a large number of submissions for workshops, and this part of the program is now full. BUT if you still want to propose a workshop you can do it, we will leave the submissions open. In case a slot becomes available (which is very likely at this point) your submission will be considered.
We are also exploring different ways to expand the number of slots available, another good reason to still send your propositions.
Lift has partnered with the London-based co-creation consultancy Promise and is launching a new format for next year’s conference: on Wednesday morning we will offer a small number of hands-on co-creation workshops.
While the term co-creation may be a little overhyped at the moment, we still believe it has the potential to revolutionise problemsolving. We define it as the practice of insight, strategy and product development that is collaboratively executed by clients, users & other stakeholders.
In these participatory workshops, you will be able to collaborate with attending clients as well as fellow lifters on live briefs and challenges. For example you might be invited to work on the development of an innovative service or a new piece of technology (we are currently finalising the exact nature of these assignments).
If you are interested to take part in a live co-creation experiment and are keen to develop robust concepts in a short amount of time together with the client and problem-owner, please get in touch or register online (NB: the workshop registration is not live yet – we will let you know once they are!).
If you face an insight or innovation challenge in your organisation and are keen to co-create a solution for this together with a group of experts and lead-users, please get in touch, too. We have space for one more client brief and would love to fill it with a fascinating problem!
We will be back shortly with more information on how the workshops will unfold. In the meantime, please get in touch with any questions and comments.

The Lift France 10 Open Program submissions are now open. As a Lift France 10 participants you can submit your ideas. Get active and take the opportunity to share your experience, brainstorm with your fellow Lifters and get exposure.
