What can the future do for you?
Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.
We introduced day tickets for Lift11, we hope it will give you more flexibility to attend only the sessions you want.
It has been a recurrent request for the past years: creating the possibility to attend only part of Lift. We now offer this possibility and you can target specific days you would like to attend. Check the program, choose the days you want to attend, and !
Lift with Fing propose aux startups, auto entrepreneurs et freelancer une offre spéciale qui permet d’obtenir un ticket pour un prix allant de 0 à 350 € - le viral ticket.

Here comes a new idea: we know some of you would like to contribute to the conference via your network, ideas or time. We know paying CHF850 to register is not always easy, that you might have missed the super early bird price, and that the student, volunteer or startup tickets do not work for everybody.
So let's experiment with something new: the value exchange ticket. Can you convince Steve Jobs to come keynote at Lift? Can you promote the conference to the one million members of your online community? Do you know the CEO of a big company who would love to become a partner of a conference like Lift? If yes, tell us what you plan to do, we will evaluate your proposition and give you a corresponding discount on the entry price!
This is completely beta, and it might sometimes create a bit of unwanted frustration (typically when you want to propose a speaker for a conference without knowing that we finalize 90% of our program six months in advance). But, we are always eager to try new things, and we believe our community is full of good people who will make the most of this new way to attend Lift10.

One of the many ways to get a Lift10 ticket.
A misconfiguration on our Amiando account accidentally closed the early bird price this morning. We are back to the correct situation, with 13 hours remaining to get your ticket at 650chf.
• We have 194 registered participants and hope to pass 200 by the end of the year!
• Early bird closes in 3 days. Tickets will go from 650 to 850chf on January 1st. Register for Lift10.
• We have fifteen applications from Mexico, UK, Switzerland, Finland, USA, Italy, Germany and France for the free students pass. We need more before the January 15 deadline, there are twenty tickets up for grab don't miss that chance! Apply for a pass.
• On the press front, we have received thirty requests for accreditation. Ask for a press pass if you are a journalist or blogger.
I got a couple emails from friends asking if they could register next Monday while going back to the office. Yes, closing early birds on a Saturday was a bit tough, so we extended the deadline to January December 31st, which give you five more days to join the Lift10 participants.
The 650chf price (435€,635$) includes all presentations, three lunches, dinner on Thursday, and drinks at the pre- and post-conference parties.
Now is the time to ask for your free student pass. Submissions close on January 15, and we only received around five at this point. Each year you have approximately 50% of chance to get a free ticket via this process so give it a try. Five minutes of your time and you might attend Lift free of charge!
You must have a Lift account (create one, or login) then head to the corresponding form.
Reminder: for press/bloggers, the press pass request form is here.
We just added 50 tickets at a lower price of 500chf for non profits on the registration page. These are available for NGOs and UN staff, and we will simply control the email addresses so please register using @unicef.org rather than you @hotmail.com address if you buy such a ticket.
We decided to do this in anticipation of our own transition to a non-profit structure set to happen in the coming days... Stay tuned, admin is very complicated and always takes more time than you think but it will happen before Lift09!
PS: if you have already registered and qualify for this price please contact us and we will repay you the difference.
You can now ask for a Lift09 press pass if you are a journalist or blogger, and try to win one of the twenty free students ticket if you are lucky enough to still be at the university (i.e. away from the gloomy economical situation ;)
We are again working with our friends at Amiando to handle registrations, and the process is now simpler than ever as opening a LIFT account is not mandatory (only highly recommended).
You can pay by credit card or bank transfer, and will receive an electronic ticket seconds after the payment. If you registered before we put the new system in place you will receive an email explaining the procedure (which, in most cases, consists in doing nothing ;)
