Job description: Application Experts

Excentive International is looking to hire 3 Application Experts, preferably located by its head office in
French speaking Switzerland.

The Application Experts’ role is covering 3 functions:

• Presales: supporting Sales with application expertise
• Implementation consulting: translating customers functional requirements into our application;
integrating customer systems into the Excentive platform; designing and building reports
• Maintenance support: providing 1st line technical and functional assistance to customers

The required technical skills are:

• A degree in computer science or business information technology
• A general knowledge of web applications
• A general knowledge of Relational and Multidimensional Database models
• A detailed knowledge of MS SQL platform (SQL DB, OLAP, Reporting Services, SSIS)
• A detailed knowledge of query writing in relational database environment

We are looking for editorial assistants to document the Lift France 11 conference. It's a great job to see all of the speeches from the front row and get involved:)

Are you a social media power user and familiar with the themes of Lift? Then this is a great opportunity for you! We don't yet know if we will ever have a better editorial assistant than super-überflieger Eva Sander from Mexico, who never took a break and tweeted in supersonic speed, but we can only try :)

We are happy to announce that Aurélie Charlet has joined our team as an event management intern.

Like all of our team members, Aurélie has a passion for travel and has spent many years backpacking:) From secretarial jobs to communication activities, she has worked in many multinational companies in Geneva, organising events, doing publication layouts, preparing presentations, managing databases etc. Until very recently, she was working at a cultural foundation in the field of art and architecture in the Islamic world.

Aurélie will be with Lift for the next 6 months, helping us plan Lift11, whilst pursuing her studies in public relations.
