Tom Hume

Between 2000 and 2011 I ran Future Platforms, a software business which designs, builds and launches software for mobile phones. In 2011 I sold Future Platforms to London agency Vexed Digital and I'm now spending a year in academia, on a Master's in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Sussex. After that I'll be returning to industry to work on consumer-facing products.

At the moment I'm particularly interested in pervasive computing, sensors, the quantified self, mobile and internet, software development, human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence.
