Thomas Fundneider

Thomas Fundneider is founder and director of the innovation consultancy tf consulting and the atelier of innovation “theLivingCore", both based in Vienna. He teaches at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz. He gratuated from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna. His focus of work is on collaborative innovation processes (open innovation, crowdsourcing, realisation of developer/designer challenges), radical innovation (he developed with M. Peschl the innovation technology leap, based on the theoretical framework of emergent innovation), design thinking (applied in the context of innovation), support of start-ups and the conceptualisation and realisation of innovation labs and enabling spaces (realising spaces that enable the creation of new knowledge). He is also actively involved in several start-up activities as well as regularly evaluating ICT-projects for the European Commission.
