What can the future do for you?
Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.

Surprising as it may seem, Mélanie comes from the eco-warrior side of the fence. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia and a Master of Research in Environment and Development from the University of Lancaster.
After 10 years in the UK working to convince busy Westminster Politicians that the environment matters, changing the recycling behaviour of nearly 100,000 Londoners and managing a nationwide team of educators, Mélanie is back on home ground to pursue some of her less obvious interests.
In addition to coordinating Lift volunteers, she is using her managerial skills to save the planet (pompous git !). She is a full-fledged eco-geekette and is excited to work for Green Monkeys - an innovative rideshare solution set to revolutionise the way we travel to work.
Other interests include: Social enterprising, collective intelligence, open space technology, electro, photography, urban myths, agronomy, Africa, social marketing, wood carving, alternative monetary systems, arts, London, esoterismS, paragliding, apres-GE, and meeting ALL KINDS!
