Maria is passionate about bringing community leaders together who share common values. She is driven by sparking conversations across many communities fostering meaningful, transparent and authentic exchanges. Over the past three years, Maria and her team have been creating places online where community leaders meet, share and exchange resources - turning conversations into value.
Linqia.com is the 1st global online marketplace enabling brands and their agencies to identify, connect and engage communities through their leaders across many social networks. A performance based marketplace where brands only pay for response, social networks finally monetize their platforms and community leaders attract engaging content for their members.
Before starting Linqia, Maria spent 2 years at XING initially as their COO responsible for the company’s international strategy and then as the Director of Community Development building and monetizing their groups and premium group offerings. She launched one of XING’s flagship groups ‘Global Business Women’ attracting more than 15,000 women globally and famous for its Positive Monday Booster.
From the age of 18-28 Maria founded and lead a specialized communication/ marketing agency in Sydney, Australia focused on customer acquisition and retention strategies.
