Marc obtained his PhD on China's telecommunication reforms from the London School of Economics' Information Systems Department in 2006. He spends his time between academic work at EPFL (cohesion between technology and institutions) , consulting (China and technology) and pro bono activities (launching a sponsorship syndicate: http://www.bonopro.org and co-organising the highest Iron/Diamondman in the world: http://www.polyathlon.org) LIFT08 presentation on mobile telecommunications in China
