Alberto Mastelli

After having acquired a strong safety culture at DuPont de Nemours International, Alberto Mastelli developed his own consultancy firm and rapidly became considered by the industry as one of the pioneers in behaviour-based safety in Europe. He has contributed to the development of continuous improvement processes at over 100 European organisations and has coached their managers in the development of their leadership skills.

In 1991, Alberto Mastelli founded SMS Safety Management Systems. From 1996 to end 2005, he represented BST Behavioural Science Technology, the pioneering and world-leading company in behaviour-based safety, in Europe. On January 1st, 2006 Alberto Mastelli was appointed Vice-President Business Development Europe at BST International. His mandate was completed on June 30, 2009 and he is now offering his experience as an internal or external consultant and/or trainer.
