We have launched several initiatives we want you to be aware of, and a LOT happened since our last email six months ago. 550CHF FOR LIFT10 UNTIL OCT 6

Lift10 is happening in May 2010, and the super early bird tickets are selling at 550chf (360€, 530$) for a few more days. Get your pass now (choose the prepayment option if you need more time before to wire the money) and you will get a nice discount while also making our life easier. We love to see participants register in advance, it's motivating :)

We are currently working on next year's format and theme, and things are pretty undefined at this point. What we know:
- The format will change quite radically
- We will improve interactivity and quality control
- The conference will feature actionable ideas, things you can reuse in your day to day activities

LIFT IPHONE APP

We could not pretend to be a serious tech conference without working on an iPhone app, come on ;) With the help of Thierry Weber and Akosma Software, we developed an app that will allow you to see our talks on the go. Close to 200 talks in your pocket, with the possibility to favorite, email, rate, and get the latest news on the conference.

LIFT AT HOME

Major announcement, and another initiative that is a direct consequence of the community feedback. At Lift we have considerably extended our reach in the past years. Lifters are all around the globe, living in different locations, sharing a common envy to meet, brainstorm, share and explore. After several meet ups happened (in Zurich, Toronto, Lausanne) we decided to encourage these gatherings, to structure and promote them. Here comes Lift at Home!

Two events already happened (Geneva, Tokyo), and we have several unique propositions waiting for you, like an event in a Chalet (bring your kids, it's about their usage of the internet!), a dinner in New York, a day of workshops in Brussels, a small conference in London, a workshop with some of the world's most renowned experts on urban computing in Barcelona, a gathering of Canadian Lifters in Toronto, etc!
