Mark Madsen of RootJam will be hosting a workshop entitled Music, Creativity, Collaboration: Where Next? at Lift 10.
RootJam is a collaborative platform where site meets sound. The RootJam mission is to mix music, art and technology creatively personalizing the musical experience. It is an online interactive music social network that brings musicians together with other musicians and closer to their fan base.
Mark's workshop will look at the new tools, new technologies, and new licensing models that are starting to have an impact on the way music is created. Many of these innovations will also affect the way that other creative people such as writers and photographers work. The session will address the new creative and collaborative models for music, the role of innovations to support them as well as the novel business models that will become possible as a result.
