Estelle Métayer will be hosting a workshop at Lift10 entitled How Intelligent is your Company ? Tap into The Invisible Web for Competitive Intelligence.

Estelle is an expert in Competitive and Strategic Intelligence. Her research focuses on how managers, CEOs, and board members build and improve their strategic planning and/or competitive intelligence function to avoid strategic blindspots. Her projects target companies which need to drastically change the way they do business and/or grow aggressively. She is a also a public speaker in international conferences and facilitates strategic workshops around the world. An adjunct professor for McGill University, she teaches with Henry Mintzberg in the International and national Advanced Leadership Programs.

In her workshop, you will learn how to tap into the Invisible Web to find pools of information that will help you anticipate competitor’s moves, detect emerging technologies or trends and their applications weeks before any public announcement.

You will learn how to target people profiles, dissect their decision making patterns, and peek into their personal interests. In teams, you’ll be able to track strategies and future product introductions. Participants will even try to find client and suppliers’ lists and unveil CEOs' personal blogs.
