What can the future do for you?
Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.
We are happy to see a lot of positive twitter comments. While we 1) party, 2) rest, 3) gather our thoughts and 4) publish content, here are a few things you can already enjoy:
Press coverage
We are gathering the press/blog coverage and need your help. We can't find articles easily, especially if they are published outside of Switzerland. So please send us links (by email or twitter) and we will add links from our site.
Videos
The live stream is archived here. The videos are a bit raw, but all talks are available and we already had 700'000 "viewer minutes" (livestream's unit for measuring audiences) which means than more than 11'000 hours of Lift talks have been watched.
Check out videos with slides provided by our partner Klewel
Putting forward a specific talk is hard, but to get you started check Jean-Claude Biver sharing his anecdote on choosing a Japanese ambassador for his company (start around 15:25). He just turned the audience on, and he still makes me laugh three days after.
Photos
Ivo (Lift's official photographer) is uploading pictures to our Flickr account. There were A LOT of good photographers among the participants, check all pictures tagged Lift11, and the ones of Philippe Tarbouriech and Yoomeehq.
[UPDATE]: Visual notes
The fantastic visual notes have been uploaded to Flickr. Check them out!
Workshop turning into global buzz
Did you sign the Digital Media Consumption Manifesto? It's an initiative launched during a Lift11 workshop by Pierre Spring and Jordi Boggiano, and it's already on Wired and Wired UK!
