The results of the Lift11 post-conference survey are in. This wraps up a successful exercice that participants seem to have enjoyed greatly. Find out how Lift11 graded!
Glenn O'Neill of OwlRe sent us our grades: the results of the Lift11 post-conference survey. And the good news is that we seem to have made our attendees happy :)
To the question what is your overall rating for Lift11, 45% of participants chose "excellent", 48% "good", 5% "satisfactory" and only 2% poor.

Ratings evolution over time, from Lift06 to Lift11.
90% of participants reported that Lift11 provided them with information relevant to their interest, and 91% of Lifters gave the program a good or excellent rating :)
In terms of getting concrete returns, that is another area where we seem to have delivered. To the question "did you think you have gained any concrete outputs/ new projects at Lift11?”, 48% of attendees said “Yes”, 26% said maybe ( interesting contacts were made that could eventually turn into partnerships or new business), and only 26% said no. The usual return of a conference in terms of concrete business is more around 20%, so we are really proud of that particular figure.
As usual, the report gets more complicated once we go into the "we want more/we want less" part, as contradictory demands emerge. You ask us for more innovative/cutting-edge talks, but also more practical ideas. Some attendees liked the parallel workshop/presentations format, where as others did not.
Last but not least, 91% of participants tell us they will participate in the next conference, and 95% will recommend it to their friends. Pretty cool score after somewhat of a down year in 2010, where the conference was not as in line with participants expectations as usual.
You can see the complete report here. Thanks to OwlRe for getting the pulse of our community since 2006, and to all those of you who took the time to give us their feedback!
