Nearing 400 participants

We have 280+ registered participants on Amiando, with another 100 persons to be registered by our partners in the coming days. TheArk is sending 15 startups to the event, Alpict 10 Swiss entrepreneurs, Prof. Pierre Dillenbourg's EPFL lab has 6 doctorate students registering, then we have all the students from the institutions who are academic partners like the University of Geneva or the University of Lausanne. So as the early bird period closes we are nearing 400 participants and are on pace to reach a similar figure than last year when the conference was attended by 700 Lifters.
Every year we see the same pattern, 60% of participants register in the last 6 weeks. So the big rush should still be ahead of us. Here is a graph showing Lift07's registrations.

2006: like people register for conferences on Jan 31st :D
2007: good, but still in people's head February is next year so they don't feel the pressure
2009: January 15, right during the time participants start feeling the Lift vibe again!
