A practical guide to co-creation: Why? How? With whom?

Recently, co-creation has become a real buzzword for people working in insight, R&D, marketing, branding and even HR. While many agree that it is useful, innovative and engaging to ‘co-create’ with consumers, users and employees, there is much less clarity what elements are necessary to co-create and what the potential stumbling blocks may be.

Our workshop will provide real insight into the practicalities of running co-creation projects (both offline and online). Promise (www.promisecommunities.com) has been pioneering co-creation for nearly a decade and we have had many successes (and failures!) we would like to discuss with participants.

While we hope participants will help us shape the agenda of the workshop we may want to focus on some of the following areas:

- How to engage audiences in co-creation: why should anyone care?
- Advantages and disadvantages of offline vs. online methods?
- The biggest mistakes we have ever made in co-creation
- Things co-creation is good for (and things it shouldn’t be used for)
- Employee co-creation vs. consumer co-creation
- No previous expertise necessary!

See you in Geneva,
Felix
