Game design is in an age of maturity. By clarifying game design tools this last decade, we allow the mastery of creating gameplay. It opens lots of new fields to explore for games.
We know how to entertain, to convey message, to provoke emotions, to support therapy, to teach...
But all experiences are not so successful.

This workshop proposes an exploration of serious game design worst and best practices.

We will talk about methodology of game design and will try to answer a few questions, as:
Do we have to consistently simulate the environment of the training to provide?
What is the real target of the game and how it influences the content?
how to measure the real impact of the game ?
Is fun important?
...

Game design is a creative process. Creating a good experience for the player is not risk free. But we can already give you good tips to be sure to kill your game.
