Creating the Digital Nomad Travelpack

Ever since I chatted with @mamk (Mark Kramer), two years ago at LIFT, I got an idea that's been rattling around in my head: the Digital Nomad Travelpack. It would basically be a simple product to include the three basic items for people that are frequently on the road: a SIM card, WiFi hotspots, and a local transit ticket.

Questions to answer:

- How to monitor constantly changing SIM prices? What to do in countries like Switzerland that require registration for SIM purchase? Are there experimental (open-source) GSM networks, like in Germany, that we could use?
- How feasible is this?
- Should hotspots be sponsored/corporate?
- Are there any legalities for sending transit tickets?
- What cities should be the first target cities?

If you're someone who is overly connected, knows something about the mobile phone industry (or wants to) and/or is a wanderlust geek like me, then let's chat.
