Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.
Open program
At Lift, half of the presentations (more than 50 hours of program) are managed by the community. You make the propositions, we'll review them, and the more qualitative and interactive ones are inserted in the program. This is called the open program and consists of 2 different formats: Workshops and Open Stage. Make a proposition, and if you're chosen you'll hit the Lift stage!
Workshops
Explore a topic in detail via a 1.5-2hr workshop. Past workshops include "Civil Rights 2.0", "Balkan blogging", "Where is the Future Hiding?" and "Why we (still) need Art in a media rich environment".
Open Stage
Feel like hitting the main stage in front of 1000 people to share an idea or thought? Then Open Stage is for you. Past talks include "How innovative projects can transform education and ICT opportunities", "Rapid Business Model Prototyping", "The end of text" and "Those Who want to See must Close their Eyes".
