Multiuser Arena: Shared works: networked multi-user artistic environments

Resulting from research into networked multi-user spaces, four projects for mobile screens are presented. Three of them propose passing an image between interconnected iPhones/iPods in the form of potentially narrative multi-user scenes. Engravings taken from an edition of the Fables of La Fontaine, science fiction illustrations and superimposable images constitute the raw material for these studies. The final project is an attempt to transfer 3D objects between screens and considers the gestures induced by motion-sensitive interfaces.

This project is conducted by researchers from Atelier de Recherche et Création (ARC) Artem and École nationale supérieure d'art (ENSA), Nancy: Dominique Cunin and David-Olivier Lartigaud, in collaboration with Anne Briquet, Philippe Garenc, Victor Hussenot-Desenonges, Mayumi Okura, Alain Seng, Samuel Starck
