Open Stage is a type of presentation proposed and voted by the community. Here are this year's presenters, selected by Lifters among 17 great propositions:
- The Death of Privacy and Why We Should Welcome It (Bill Thompson )
- Urban Mobs : how to visualize the cell phone activity in cities ? (Stéphane Distinguin )
- Is there such a thing as Government 2.0? (Olivier Glassey )
- Sociogeek: How do you expose yourself online? How do you choose your online friends? Another kind of online survey (Daniel Kaplan )
- Innovation VS product lifecycle: must innovation always be doomed by product’s lifecycle? (Clement Charles )
- The Twentieth Century was wrong (Lee Bryant)
- Reinventing the personal computer (Frederic Kaplan )
- The Mozilla Project: Core Values of a 230 Million Person World Wide Social Network (Chris Hofmann)
This year, the team decided to pick one more presentation from the ones that did not make the cut. And we decided to invite Fabian Kalker and his blood brother Felix Koch to talk about "Who has no knife may not eat pineapples, an off-topic tour d'horizon on the literacy of cutting", probably the most intriguing proposition we have ever heard.
Thanks to all those who took the time to submit a proposition.
