Lift09 Open Program

At Lift 36 presentations (and more than 50 hours) are managed by the attendees. You make the propositions, the community votes, and the most successful propositions are inserted in the program. This is called the open program and consists in 3 different formats: Workshops, Open Stage and Discussions. Make a proposition, vote for the ones you like, and hit the Lift stage! The open program has now been decided! Click on the links below to see who will speak, and check the program to see the conference schedule.

Workshop

Explore a topic in detail in a two hours workshop. Past workshops included "Civil Rights 2.0", "Balkan blogging", "Where is the Future Hiding?" and "Why we (still) need Art in a media rich environment".

Open Stage

Feel like hitting the main stage in front of 700 people to share an idea or thought? Then Open Stage is for you. Past talks include "How innovative projects can transform education and ICT opportunities", "Rapid Business Model Prototyping", "The end of text" and "Those Who want to See must Close their Eyes".

Birds of a Feather

Want to informally discuss with Lifters about a subject you are interested in? Gather during the breaks in a cozy environment for a discussion. Past discussions included "Academia + social media is not a zero sum game", "Bridging Use and Innovation", "Developing Creativity" and "For-profit social entrepreneurship".
