Building the Urban Web. Here. Now.

Questions regarding the "Internet of Things", the "Connected City" and "Ubiquitous Computing" has taken important spot in the discourse in and around LIFT. Most have stayed on a conceptual level, pondering design questions as well as the challenges and benefits to society and so on.

This time we'd like to leave these discussions behind us and talk about building these networks and apps, right here, right now, with tools that have become available to everybody. We'll examine the current "Web of Things" tool box and focus not on what could be done in labs, but on the recently possible, out there on the street.
