What can the future do for you?
Lift works to identify and anticipate current and emerging usagesof digital technologies through research, events, publications and services.
At Lift a big part of the program is managed by the attendees. You make the propositions, we'll review them, and the more qualitative and interactive ones are inserted in the program. This is called the open program and consists of 2 different formats: Workshops and Disruptive project pitches. Make a proposition, and if you're chosen you'll hit the Lift stage!

Explore a topic in detail in a four-hours workshop (Wednesday afternoon) or a two-hours workshop (Thursday and Friday morning) where you engage people in a collective and participative activity (brainstorm, discussion, platform, simulation, short walk). Past workshops included "Discover and protect your digital identity", "Producing an open-source map with GPS", "Where is the Future Hiding?" and "Why we (still) need Art in a media rich environment".
Please send us your proposals here (Submission deadline was June 18!)
The rules are the following:
Feel like hitting the main stage in front of hundreds of people to share about your project? Then this session is for you as we interested in radical and game-changing projects in various domains: a business model, a service, a platform, a technological device that would make a huge difference. We're looking for unorthodox, surprising, dangerous ideas, backed up by examples, scenarios, prototypes or actual realizations.
6 short speeches (6 minutes) will be selected by the editorial team and the winners will be coached to deliver a punchy presentation about their projects.
Please send us your proposals here at openstage [at] liftconference [dot] com (Submission deadline is June 18!). Please send us a title, a short description, links to a slideshow/website/videos about your projects. Presentations may or may not be related to the topics addressed during the Lift France 11 conference!
