Founder of me2DAY

Suman Park is the founder of me2DAY, the first microblogging service in South Korea. ‘me2Day’ has grown fast, and is still growing! The record shows that me2Day has won the Korean market over Twitter. Seeing the growth potential of ‘me2Day’, Korea’s #1 portal company NHN Corp. acquired the service in December 2008. Mr. Park(or Suman) is now the senior manager of the department of Portal Strategy at NHN, being in charge of me2Day service.

Mr. Park has a B.S. and a M.S. in Software Engineering from the Myongji University. He started working as a software engineer in 1995, and founded enbee.com, the online publishing service, in 2003. In 2006, he founded DoubleTrack, Inc., where ‘me2Day’ was originally incubated.

Mr. Park has a lot of passion in introducing and spreading the concept of web 2.0 and web standards. He has translated several books related to the topics, such as “CSS Mastery” by Andy Budd, “Bulletproof Web Design” by Dan Cederholm, and “Web Standard Solutions” by Dan Cederholm. Each book has become a much-read for Korean developers.
