Welcome to LIFT!
LIFT is a series of events to inspire and connect an open community of doers and thinkers exploring the social impact of new technologies. Each LIFT conference is a three days experience made of talks, workshops, interactive art and discussions to understand and anticipate the most important social changes, and meet the people behind them.
After a successful LIFT08 that welcomed more than 700 participants to Geneva, we are going to Korea for our second Asian event!
LIFT Asia 08
Dates: Sept. 4, 5 and 6, 2008.
Location: Jeju Island, South Korea.
Program: The conference will start at 1pm on Thursday 4 (so you can travel in the morning) and end on Saturday 6 at 3pm. The format will slightly differ from the European version of the conference, featuring more self-organizing presentations and social events. The themes of the conference have be announced here.
Travel & Registration: If you want you can already book your plane to Seoul using a system like Kayak. We will organize hotel + plane packages in partnership with a local agency to facilitate travel. More information is coming Mid-May and registrations will open at that time.
