Living in North-Pas de Calais in 2039

What would it be like living everyday in 30 years, in the age of worldwide migrations, techno-dependancy and climate changing? In a short time and with simple tools, we have produced or own vision of a prospective program launched by North-Pas de Calais, through the imaginary life of 6 « ch’tis » -the kind nickname used for people in this region. Next step : helping people to produce new characters themselves.

Process: 6 short stories animated and photo-composed; a voice over leads the narration. First, Stephane Vincent and Romain Thévenet write the scenario which lead to 6 story-boards setting the narrative line. Then I had to gather an iconographic database so as to put an image for each story. Finally, voices were recorded and edited in order to integrate them into the animations.
