Pendant cette présentation je vais vous faire partager mon expérience dans le domaine des puces RFID grand-public et des applications en art. Lors d'un workshop avec l'Ecole Régionale des Beaux Arts de Valence nous avons pucé des objets personnels des étudiants. Ces objets ont été ensuite exposés comme de véritables sculpture communicantes, des sortes de ready-made. Cela peut paraître prétentieux, mais Marcel Duchamp est omniprésent dans cette démarche. Cette approche "puces RFID et objet" bouleverse aussi la sculpture.

Je vais aussi vous parler de la présentation d'un bureau un peu particulier, sur lequel seront entreposés des objets confiés par les intervenants de Lift Experience. Chaque objet sera assigné à des photos et textes présentant votre projet. Les medias changeront dans la journée (photo, texte). C’est une forme d’utilisation de la puce rfid, à la fois sensible et pratique. Elle permettra la médiation de vos propositions, en proposant aux participants une navigation ludique et interactive de la programmation.

During this presentation I will share with you my experience in the commercial RFID Tag domain, and its application expressed in arts. While participating in a workshop with L’Ecole Regionale des Beaux Arts de Valence ( Regional Fine Arts School of Valence) we tagged personnel objects of the students with RFIDs. These objects afterwards were exhibited as genuine communicating sculptures, of ready-made quality. This could have been seen as pretentious, however Marcel DuChamp is omnipresent in this reasoning. The application of “tagging objects with RFIDs” also distresses the art of Sculpture.

I will also talk to you about a desk, presented at Lift, that is a bit particular; it holds objects confide by the presenters of the Lift Experience. Each object will be assigned images and texts that will represent the work of the projects from the exhibit. The medias (photos/text), will change throughout the day showing RFID tags used in a way that is perceptive and yet practical. This desk will also facilitate to channel your proposals, all the while offering to the participants a fun and interactive way to navigate through the program.
